NWGA Center for Independent Living
Cordially Invites You to Our Free March Lunch and Learn
MINI-GARDENS: Veggies, Herbs, Flowers and Fun in Very Small Spaces
This event is designed for anyone who likes gardening, even if you don’t have much room, many resources or much of a green thumb! It doesn’t matter whether you have a disability or not, we can all use more practical tools and tips. Learn from an expert how to add food, flavor, scents and beauty to your home and life. Get your hands a little dirty (after lunch!), and take home a starter herb to enjoy.
Our Guest Speaker is Ginny Word, Master Gardener, of the Floyd County Extension Office’s Master Gardener Volunteers. In addition to her volunteering, Ms. Word has more than thirty years of experience working together with people with disabilities in coming up with creative assistive solutions.
