FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NWGA CIL Statement re: CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19
The NWGA Center for Independent Living (NWGA CIL) office is closed to the public and staff will neither host nor attend any consumer or public visits or events. We will continue to conduct business via phone and email. This status will be in effect for the next two weeks, unless there is a change in CDC or public health recommendations.
While we are a small organization and the risk factors appear low, both the public we serve, and our staff are members of vulnerable populations.
NWGA CIL is committed to promoting the health and safety of all consumers, staff, and visitors. We constantly review recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as well as from state and local health officials to ensure that we are following the latest recommendations for the prevention of the spread of COVID-19. We will continue to closely monitor risk factors in relation to local conditions and keep our public updated on our status.
Thank you for your trust and confidence.
